Agreed. Although I want to make sure that this is definitely the cause of the leak so that I can deal with the highest priority first!
I also have to figure out how to change the vent as well. I can find a lot on replacing the cap (just 4 bolts to remove). But, I haven't found as much on replacing the base. At first glance it looks like a fairly decent size job.
