When we first hit the road I purchased a WATTS Adjustable water pressure regulator
because we would be going to places where we had no clue as too their water pressure.
Really good one...rebuildable with stainless parts and pressure gauge.
Set it for 50# Static -----great at holding 50# regardless of how high source pressure was...some where 120#
Then one night while sleeping soundly a $0.50 fitting blew off (over tightened at factory and was cracked)
FLOODED RV.....$6000 PLUS in damages/costs
Now use that Great water pressure regulator to FILL Fresh water tank and use PUMP ONLY.
If any leaks ---even small ones---pump will cycle alerting ME to leak
Can easily turn pump OFF when going outside/leaving or going to sleep
(WHO runs out to hose bibb and turns it OFF when going to sleep?????)
Water pressure regulator....any kind.
Fill fresh water tank and then use pump
No need to hook up hose.
OP.....
Leaks caused by high pressure ????
More then likely poor installation at factory
Fix them and be done with it....use pump
