Travel trailers have a closed water system so as the water is heated, it expands and out the relief valve it goes, Shut power off to water heater, shut incoming water off, open faucet in trailer, open relief valve until water stops draining out, shut relief valve and turn water and water heater back on. You have to create an air space like a pressure tank so the water has some where to expand to, you can not compress water but you can compress air.......hope this helps....
