Water pump problem. leaking through a pressure valve

Hello, I have a 2011 Flagstaff toy hauler popup trailer that has developed an issue I can't figure out and I was hoping some experts could chime in. There is a small brass(?) nipple that protrudes...

O.k. I tried putting an air pocket in the water heater as suggested above and it did not work. I tried just shutting the power off to the pump as well as completely opening up the system by disconnecting the output hose of the pump. Anyone have any other ideas?
