We never buy bottled water due to the environmental issues with the bottles. First, buy a good WHITE hose specifically for drinking. A really good white hose is not inexpensive, but well worth it. The Walmart one - for maybe $7 we had only as a backup, but got our regular one from CW at about $15 - $20. Sanitize your water system and be sure to run water through - using the white hose - until there is no bleach smell. We had a couple of CGs with nasty tasting water and bought a Pur faucet mount filter. Fixed the problem. Sam's has the best price on the unit with filter(s) and also the box of refills. We normally got the entire season here in TN with one box of the refills. If you have a break of several weeks between trips and the weather is unusually hot, check the taste and smell with the hose at your home and if it doesn't seem quite right, just sanitize again. Not a hard job at all, just takes a bit of time. BTW, when you initially hook up at a campsite, run the water from the spigot for maybe 15 - 30 seconds to freshen and then hook up and run for several more seconds to rinse anything from the hose. I never heard of the green stuff in the south, but certainly possible with the heat and humidity.
