Waxing Aluminum Sided TT??

I know it's been talked about, but can't seem to find it, What kind of wax can I or do I use on an Aluminum Sided TT? Went to auto parts store to get wax and they said you can't wax painted aluminum because it will peel the paint.
I also know not to wax the decals, going to use 303 Aerospace on them.

Thanks for any help/info.

    I have owned quite a few RVs over the past 25 years and have never waxed one of them. If I did then I would use a regular automotive wax. Just don't tell your RV that it isn't RV wax and it won't know the difference.

    Nu finish has paste and liquid (in a squeeze bottle). I've only used the paste but will try liquid this season. This is not the stuff that you mix in your wash bucket.

    I used Nu Finish on my old trailer (aluminum sided) and it worked fine. Any automotive wax will work so buy what you like using. Won't peel the paint.

    I was asking about the wax on wax off kinds.

    I use the wash and wax liquid when I wash it already.

    Thanks for all the info. My TT is only a year old and would like to try and keep it looking that way as long as possible.

    I have hand waxed my TT twice in 8+ years. The rest of the time it gets the wash & wax treatment.

    So, to be clear. You guys are talking about liquid wash/wax, or actual paste (wax on wax off)?

    Is there any wax on it from the factory at all ?

    The liquid nu finish is the ticket. I use it on my boat, TT and vehicles...easy on, easy off, lasts a long time...

    X2 I also use Meguiars cleaner wax - does a great job on the black streaks. Stop going to that auto parts store.

    My TT is 25 years old and I've always used car wax. Hasn't peeled yet.I found if I put three coats on scratches from brush along trail rubs right out. Same with my vehicles.

    I have used Nu Finish ..its a great finish and lasts all summer. Just a little harder to put on and take off. Best bet is go with the directions and use a damp applicator. Works wonders for keeping bugs and black streaks easy to clean. Have fun!!
