Waxing front of trailer?

Any good suggestions for waxing the front of the camper at the top. It's one of the rounded fronts. I can get most of it from a ladder at the front or sides, but the top in the middle I can't reach from the front or the sides. I'm thinking of laying on the roof and doing it from there, but I hate to get on the roof, it's walkable, but I'd hate to damage it.

Any ideas??

Me too. Buy an extendable ladder.
  • I bought a sheet of extruded 2" thick hard foam insulation for working on my roof. I cut it to make several pieces, that I can move as needed. Even though mine is walk able, the foam board spreads the weight, and is nice to kneel on, when caulking, cleaning, or doing AC maintenance. The foam board is light weight, and won't cause damage to rubber roof. I also use it to kneel on when waxing my front cap, for the very reason you are asking.

  • I purchased a soft cloth brush with a 3 ft. handle to reach it. I got it at a big box store.
  • Wear soft shoes and it won't hurt anything. I do mine every fall and spring.
