When we bought our '07 ROO 23SS back in July '06, we got the Equalizer and it served us well for all those years. The downsides are that it's noisy as all get out and greasy. We just recently made the change to a Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604 TT and RVW was recommending the Blue Ox 1000. Since DH had never heard of it and IIRC, I hadn't seen any mention of it on any of the forums, he went on their website and watched a couple of videos. He liked what he saw. Now that we've used it a few times he's very, very pleased with it. It's quiet and he's not covered in grease/dirt. We bought both of our Rockwood campers from RVW and were very pleased. They said if we preferred the Equalizer, they would gladly order it. The Blue Ox 1000 was about $50 less than the Equalizer. Might be worth a few minutes online. Other than the noise and grease/dirt, he always felt secure with the Equalizer.
