When I bought my first 4x4, I thought now I can get to better hunting areas. I talked to a landowner about driving across his snow covered property, to get to where I intended to hunt. He said okay, if you want to walk across the snow covered mile. I said, I have 4x4 to cross, and then plan to walk sloughs and trees on the next section over. I've always remembered his words, and found them true, in many cases. "A 4x4 only gets you in deeper, before you get stuck".
Anyway, getting stuck in the snow...no big deal, takes a little work, before getting out. Now getting stuck in the MUD, like ShinerBock, is going to be a much bigger deal, and a few passes through the underbody spray, at the car wash, before that mud turns to cement. :)
