We finally arrived at our decision

After a few years with toying about getting rid of our MH we did it.
Our new unit is a 2015 Flagstaff Classic super lite 831 RESS 34' OAL Triple slide. We looked hard and settled on this one for us. It is going to be hard to give up the convenience of the MH while underway. What will be nice is the additional room when we are parked. This is another piece of our puzzle solved as we wind our way towards total retirement. Now to get on with our planing we already have a spot in Florida reserved for the month of Feb. I look forward to the ideas I know I will get in this section of the Forums. I know that over the last 8+ years we have received a lot of info from the class A forum.
  • We looked that unit over but the only exterior storage area is under the bed. Not enough. We finally have decided on the Rockwood 8310SS that also has a bedroom slide out and plenty of exterior storage not to mention the full width front wardrobe.

    Good luck with your choice.

Nice rig for full timing. Herself says you need more clothes closets if you spend a lot of time in it; especially a ceiling to floor clothes closet. The living area is setup nicely... well planned.

I agree with clothes closet and storage it is small for FT. After all these years of camping we have figured out that 3-6 weeks is the amount of time we are gone each trip normally. Maybe a little more in the winters going forward. We have friends and hobbies that keeps us busy at the SB location. That is part of the reason for this choice.

  • Great looking trailer...congrats.
We are partial to trailers that have a front window. We really like that feature about ours. Really opens up the feel of the floor plan.

    Enjoy.
