We looking for new TT. Have few model ideas

A bit more expensive and a bit smaller; but I easily tow my Camplite 21BHS with my Ram 1500. Light (6000 lbs GVWR, 3600 dry weight) and very solidly built, especially for an ultralight. We've had ours for 4 years so far and are very happy with it. May be worth a look:

Your issue will be payload and tongue weight. Not what you can tow.

Is this one aluminum or wood frame?

Ok Bunkhouses in that range looked quickly at Forest river hyperlites, 27BHHL or at Highland ridge ultralight UT3110BH. Both are over 30' total length, and in the 9000 lb weight range, have the separate bunkroom Tongue weights of at least 900, and when loaded for use should be 1200-1400 when loaded for travel.
TV Ram 1500, wide range of cargo and tow capacities, ranging from 1440 lbs to 1940 lbs.

Tow capacities range from 4450 lbs to 8060lbs.
The trailers I checked were 6-7 K empty, and around 9000 loaded.

4 passengers in truck, figure 600 lbs (kids grow) Gear in truck= ??
Tongue weight of trailer as listed is empty, add for propane and tanks, and batteries on tongue plus personal stuff in forward part of trailer.
There are other manufacturers and brands on the trailers, maybe someone builds a lighter one that I looked at, but the truck appears pretty limited. I think all these items together will be a stretch.

Your light infrequent use allows an ultralight or hyperlite model, most folks will tell you these extremely light trailers are not as durable, as more heavily constructed models. Being handy especially with an ultralight is helpful.

edit add on, I have a friend with a trailer like what you described, keystone outback 293UBH that is closer to what you may be able to make work. 7600 loaded weight, and with that about 200-300 lbs less in tongue weight.

"Tow vehicle and its limits?" isn't answered by "2011 ram 1500."
"Size and features desired?" includes TT weight. Or should we look it up for you?

You may consider having a Ram 1500 "handy" but you'd especially want to pay attention to gross tongue weight with the camper fully loaded and ready to camp vs your Ram's rather limited payload capacity. Exceed it and you're sure to also exceed it's coil suspended rear axle. :(

Get a Jayco, they're built budget conscious and for light use.
