Weber 220 regulator removed for my Lance quick connect

I was tired of the little propane tanks when camping and decided to get the hose at camper world to hook it up to the Lance quick connect. Some had mentioned that you didn't need to remove the regul...

Not sure but it may be more of a function of the BBQ, than anything wrong.
Instructions for the small Weber say you have to wait till it heats up. Once I quit expecting it to get hot right away, it works great.
