Yep they charged me wholesale, a buddy is a diesel mechanic and told them to charge me his rate. A bottle of Crown is coming his way.
Yes the bands were done at the same shop last year and they told me then that the TC seamed to be "soft" and I should think about replacing it. Well at the time I didn't have the cash and I wanted a Georend trans. We sold the TT so towing is not an issue but at the price he gave me the 3 disc was a no brainier....even for me.
Yes 10 years with over half the mileage towing a 8500/9600# trailer probably is not bad.
