2oldman, my point which I guess wasn't clear is, different generators manufacturers rate by different standards, trying to compare one to the other by the information they provide is non-impossible. You know the old apples to oranges thing.
One of the majors, refuses to give db ratings at all for the above reason. Generac is one, good equipment, little info.
I prefer my Champion you prefer your Honda, there is room for both and those who hate them both figure in here someplace. Personally I wouldn't buy a Wen product, I just don't like their engineering, it doesn't mean they are junk, it's just my feelings.
