For me one of the big advantages of having a trailer over a motorhome is this: If your class a neds service or repair you are essentially out of your house. You have got to get a hotel pets and all. This can be a significant expense.
Also repair and maintenance on large diesel engines and transmissions often involves long waits of days or weeks at even the large truck service centers. And the Motorhomes are not their first priority.
With a trailer if your Truck breaks down, you still have your living quarters. A rental car is optional depending on the circumstances.
Secondly a Class A almost requires either a scooter/motorcycle or a small car in addition to make trips around and to the stores.
I looked at this long and hard and concluded the TT was the most flexible choice.
As for parking it. I can get my trailer backed in and set up usually faster than most guys with their huge class A's can get them backed in.
