You're really going to love that truck, it's a towing beast, and reasonable ride empty as well. With the factory rear air suspension you have I think you'll find it solid as a rock while towing, even if you go a "Little" over weight wise. I just towed the kids triple axle rig 659 miles through the mountains, high winds, snow etc and the truck which is configured very similar to yours handled like a charm. As far as the discussions about gearing, through the areas where the road was clear I easily pulled the hills at 65mph dropping down to no more than 4th gear and blowing past the semis that were somewhere under 35mph with their flasher going. With my own 5er that has a max gvwr of only 15.5k it pulls a whole lot easier rarely going below fifth gear.
