Went truck shopping, bought 2016 Ram 3500

So, long story short I took the day off yesterday and the family and I went tov Landmark in Morrow, GA to "look"at their Ram 3500s. We've got a Sierra 5th wheel on order.

The regular salespeople seemed totally clueless and we almost left, but then they got the commercial sales guy's help. We wound up buying a truck they had on order that wasn't even on the lot... How nerve tracking to buy something sight unseen!

Anyway, I'm supposed to drop the 250 off Monday in exchange for a rental car they're providing. The 3500 should be here within the next two weeks. The best tracking they had was that it was in-transit via rail network somewhere in Georgia.

Since I don't have a picture of it, here's the window sticker instead (scroll to bottom).

Very excited!

Edit - window sticker link stopped working

Isn't it amazing what a good, helpful salesman can do? Too often on this board people love to just trash all salesman and it's not always needed. I just a bought a new 5th wheel and have to say the salesman played a huge role in it. Low pressure, helpful and just an all around good guy. He even questioned whether or not my truck had the capacity to tow what I was looking at. I actually had to convince him!!

Congratulations on the new ride.... that's super nice! It's amazing how expensive those "just looking" trips to the dealer can be :)

Congrats... You are going to love it.

By the window sticker, yours is equipped very similarly to mine.... Mine is dually tho.

    I love the Aisin!!!

You can get the B&W hitch that slips right into your factory prep. That's what I did and it's a great hitch and very quiet.
  • You will be amazed! The low end torque is phenomenal. Hold on to your hat on the first pull and drive it Hard. It likes it.
    Congrats!!!
  • Nice! Getting to be lots of guys with Cummins trucks around here. :B

That's going to be a huge step up over your gas rig.
