We have been to WV twice, 6 years apart, both times at Big Bend Smoke Hole Campground. It is a small place in the Monongahela National Forest. It is literally in a "hole" where the South Branch of the Potomac River makes a tight, slow, shallow loop. Plus you get to drive a ~9 mile scenic gravel road along the water into the "hole".
