You can get a portable panel kit, or you can get
100w/200w kits that are permanent. I camp out west where there is rarely heavy tree cover, and my 2 100w panels recharge my 2 12v 110Ah batteries by noon every day. In the winter, it takes until late-afternoon to fully recharge.
I would not do a trickle-charge setup, as it does not replenish what you use. Depending on your use, 200w is likely going to be better for you. Portable panels require you to put them away if you leave camp, so you may be missing the best sun (or, you may be missing your panel when you return).
Just my thoughts, having used 100w then 200w panels for 5 years.
