When it comes to pulling any type of trailer it is all about having enough tow vehicle and a properly set up weight distribution hitch. All too often we see people trying to tow WAY too much trailer with inadequate or improperly set up tow vehicles. Don't listen to RV and car salesman when they tell you that your mid size SUV can safely pull a 10,000+ pound travel trailer...
This is not to say that someone could not tow a trailer with a mid size SUV, just that it should be the right trailer, probably a lightweight model in the 19-23 ft length range with properly set up hitch, brake controller, etc.
