Please do yourself a BIG favor. STOP considering a 1500 series. They are just too limiting and resale values are not what a good 2500 would be. The purchase price difference is nothing. Not only that but pulling and load carrying capacity is pretty short once you load up. Now, if you limit yourself to a TT around 6000 pounds GVWR and never ever plan to get anything more than a 1500 could be a good fit. But if are like most folks you will start up with something and upgrade to more. If you had a 1500 it could then mean changing trucks too.
