What are advantages and disadvantages of travel trailers

Hello everybody, we are new to this site and exploring rving. We are pretty sure we want to get a travel trailer and have some questions. We are not rushing into this decision as we are planning ...

1. TT you have your truck bed for storage.

2. Most 5er have a basement storage to offset the lost of truck bed storage.

3. 5er have more head room

4. 5er need a $$$ hitch - no option. TT need a $$$ Hensley or Propride hitch to prevent sway. TT you can get by with a $ hitch for short distances.

5. More 5er thus better selection of use 5er than TT
