Simple math shows that any travel trailer grossing 7500 lbs loaded & ready to camp translates easily to an average gross tongue weight of at least 1000 lbs ... subtract that from a 1/2 ton's real world payload capcity and there won't be much left. For just an adult couple and not much else in the truck one might make this work, anything more and it's not difficult to exceed the truck's payload and most like it's gross rear axle weight rating. :(
