as I mentioned briefly on the other post...
we were in many glacier (part of glacier national park) and we went through some big winds. the campground host came around and warned everyone that winds would hit that night. I don't usually put my jacks down when camped but I did for that night. the middle of the night the winds showed up. I felt the camper rock a little bit but not bad...kind of like someone stepping up to the back door kind of movement. I did peer out the cab over window a couple times, that was useless in the pitch black night. the morning came and we found out there was gusts over 70mph. one tree fell in an empty site. we suffered no damage or problems. the tenters next to our site...they looked like the walking dead. they had to abandon their tent and move to the minivan they had. it was apparent they had a terrible night. I slowly drank my coffee watching them shuffle around and pick up the pieces in their camp site. I feared to ask them if they needed help...walking dead (zombies)...they frighten me.
