BKA thanks for bringing back a crazy memory.
We got called out for power lines down on CA 35 5 miles south of CA 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The winds were over 105 mph in gusts. we had just gone on scene and I got out of the engine and got blown onto my back. I heard a loud crack and watched a valley oak snap and land just behind our engine. took the picture after we moved the engine

When we returned to our station another big gust hit and the 150' tall Doug Fir behind the station toppled just missing our 500 gallon propane tank and emergency generator and the station.

Power was out for ten days while PG&E restrung the lines, good thing that propane tank was full
