I also noticed that is was a 2500/3500 series truck. One would think that with the TV weighing twice as much as the trailer that the low tongue weight wouldn't matter much. Very likely that the low tongue weight was a contributing factor, but disasterous accidents like this are seldom the result of just one problem. Excessive speed, driver skill (or lack therof) and driver distraction are all likely factors as well.
