- Heavy_Metal_DocExplorerBeing newbies to TT's this past fall with barely enough time to get started before winter set in and stopped everything, I got a bit of spring fever now that it got above freezing for a day or 2.
This week I made a punch list to work through to make it "my own", and started shopping. I just ordered the light controller for mid-ship side turn signals. - facoryExplorerWe are fortunate to be able to store the TT at home. I have a deal with our pest control company to also treat around the trailer with every service. During the summer he sprays abundantly around the gravel and in the winter he puts down a granular substance. We have never had an infestation problem of any kind. This winter I also hung a "no pest strip" inside. Again, absolutely no problems.
- NJRedneck1986ExplorerWell i didnt have planned on un tarping my trailer til next weekend. But guess mother nature had different thought woke up this morning to find the tarp is off the trailer all the ropes broke except the front ones. So i untied it and rolled the tarp up and put it away.lol. Was gonna go inside but the lock must be frozen so i didnt want to break a key in the lock so ill just wait til its a lil warmer :-)
Just thought id share this. If you guys and gals are worried for rodents and bugs to get in you TT when in storage for the winter. Get 3 lil tin cups get some lemond pinesole and i put one in the sink one in the batch tub and one in the bedroom and soo far havent seen any rat poop or mess. Will deff no more when i get inside instead of looking threw the windows lol. - facoryExplorerWise choice in tires. Just can't do any better.

That really sucks! Did you have insurance? If so, did it cover the damage
Yes we have Progressive. They have been great. Called and made the claim and that day received a call from our rep. He told us to,take it wherever we wanted and he would go up there and make the estimate. We took it,up to the repair center and the next day the Progressive rep was there. Agreed with what the repair center said and check sent cut. Now we have to,wait in line to get into the service center to work on it. They said should be done end of May. So we are still hoping for,our July Myrtle Beach trip. - facoryExplorerPrice was around $300+ depending. I think I got mine through Amazon. Decided on it after following many reviews.
Installation is very simple. All directions are included. Once installed and set you can remove and reinstall on the same wheel as needed. I made a wooden template with holes drilled in it to identify the individual wheels on the TT and TV to hold the appropriate sensor. Remove and place in the correct hole and when ready to reinstall you know exactly where they go. A real breeze.
We did a 6700 mile trip out west last Spring. I had real piece of mind knowing that if anything went wrong I would know immediately. Thankfully, all went well. - Doug33Explorer

I've got the Tire Trakker. You'll love it.
What's the price and can you install it yourself? - facoryExplorerI've got the Tire Trakker. You'll love it.
- PenManExplorerI had metal valve stems installed yesterday so I can install the new TPMS before our first trip of the spring.
