- WoodGlueExplorerI bought a new Dremel 3000 to carry in the trailer!
WoodGlue - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerWell we found a buyer, sold the Big Cat to the fourth couple to look at her. Could have sold her to the first couple but he had a 2012 1500 Ram that was rated to tow a 8500# TT so I told him that I should look at smaller trailers. Momma was not overly impressed with me but wit a GVWR of 9685# and being 34' long I didn't feel comfortable selling it to him.
The couple that bought it does not not a truck so I towed it up to the CG they are going to keep it at. Turns out he works at the Rouge plant that I was offered a job back in 1999. Small world we both are Tool & Die Makers, kind of neat I thought.
Well at least it will no longer just be sitting at the storage site. Kind of sad to see her go.
Don - popupcampingExplorerre did my roof vent with Dicor..developed a nice leak this summer.
Good as new - bornin49ExplorerI washed and waxed my TT, getting ready for a trip to Maryland next week, checking air pressure ,and greasing the axeles, flushed out the water system ang getting ready to go.
- br549redneckExplorerLets see, I started at the roof cleaned every seam, vent, end cap and protrusion through the roof. Resealed those with eternabond and caulk those that required it. Worked own each side front and back cleaned every seam and window and resealed all those, including around the door and every access door. Pulled the heater out cleaned all the mud dobberes out of that. Did the same with water heater, cleaned out the refrigerator vent area. Made screens and installed them to keep dobbers out of those places mentioned. I washed the whole trailer with a hand spray bottle and wet rags. We have water restrictions in place cant wash your car at home. So found a way round that, waxed it. Welded new battery trays on the tongue. Re painted the tongue and back bumper. Repacked all 4 wheel bearings and replaced seals, and 4 new tires...Which brand I wont mention to keep from starting a war. And made a pvc sewer hose storage under the trailer. Been a busy 2 weeks but well worth all the trouble.
- WoodGlueExplorerI finally got a nice flag holder and stitched American Flag! Yay!
WoodGlue - ThurbersfolksExplorerI pulled out the set-T and bought two compfy recliners and a smaller table to use. My TH does not have slideouts so this has given us more room to walk through also. Dania stores have a narrower recliner that has thinner, narrower arms. And they swivel and rock as well as recline.
- Perrysburg_DodgExplorerInstalled the new brakes with auto adjustment. I ordered the complete brake kit and seals. Hand packed the wheel bearings using AMSOIL synthetic multipurpose grease. Now all I need to do is find a buyer for her.
Don - WoodGlueExplorerRepacked my new 2014 Lance
Stabilizer pads put on my electric Bal stabilizer jacks. This will help keep the trailer steady as well as the Bal X-Chocks.
WoodGlue - pdmac1946ExplorerInstalled two lp gas gauges on new TT. Also hooked up battery switch with removable key.
