- jmillerExplorerBought a EU2000i genny for it. Come on spring!!!!!!
- DonConExplorerDewinterized and washed the camper. Purchased some area rugs, installed the Oxygenics shower head and a hung the tv in the bedroom. I can't wait for the first trip.
- WoodGlueExplorerWent out and checked on everything. Did a little dusting inside. Stripped off the old reflective tape from the rear bumper and it came off easily.
Stocked and arranged the stocked items a little better.
Took out some items that will be projects for the next months.
WoodGlue - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerCleaned the roof, removed the black streaks, washed the TT, installed the new door latch and battery, Mamma picked up new bedding for the bunks and starting tomorrow will begin waxing her.
Tell me again why I like to camp :@ :B
Don - facoryExplorerJust added a Tire Traker pressure and temperature monitor to the TV and TT. Works great.
- Tom_and_AdrianExplorerInstalled a "rear view safety" camera on the back of the trailer. Put the camera on a 3' stand built of aluminum that u bolts on the 4" tube that runs the back of the trailer. installed a quick disconnect on the trailer and the back of the burb so its easy hook up. 7" display in the cab. Lot of crawling under the vehicles stapping the cables but it made it all worth while when we turned it on and saw that color picture back behind the trailer. it has a remote control to move the camera direction.
Also bought a wd/sway system and brake controller for my daughter's trailer and they got it installed today with the help of my nephew who has many talents. We are ready to caravan.
Revo-Ray, if you see this that cover for your trailer is one of the nicest I have seen. Any info on it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom - avoidcrowdsExplorerAfter pondering whether to replace my single 12v battery with two 6-volt batteries or a solar panel, I decided on the solar panel. 100-watt. Installed it yesterday.
While in the evening shade (sun behind neighbor's house), it indicated it was charging, and my battery was only showing one of three lights on the controller. Battery Bug said I was at 12.4 volts.
Late this morning, I checked, and I had all three lights on the battery indicator, and Battery Bug said I was at 14.4 volts. Got a full charge (according to controller, and Battery Bug) without having any direct sun. I am happy! Should be able to boondock indefinitely with this setup.
Also removed the door knob, and replaced with a flush-mount latch. Much easier for the DW to open the door! Had to do some cutting with a jigsaw, but it is worth it. - SoCal_travelerExplorerJust added a tire minder.
Aloha ~ Todd - rae10raeExplorerLots to do on the trailer today. Rinsed the water heater out, replaced anode rod, filled propane tanks, cleaned the area where they sit, cleaned roof and cleaned awning, aired up all tire including the spare, and sanitized the freshwater tank! We were going to wash the whole thing, but it got COLD again at just about 60 degrees here! Will try to get it washed up tomorrow and get the interior spic and span. Leaving Friday for our first weekend out of the season and REALLY looking forward to it.
