I don't remember witch model # they are off hand. Some info here on them

Pretty cool setup! Any installation tips? Issues? I'd like to see more detailed pics if you have the inclination as the Mrs. agrees this would be a very worthy upgrade.
Thx
Thanks for compliments. CAJW I thought the Arctic Fox steps were great they fold up don't they?
My wife and I really like the steps as we don't really camp much, we mostly use the TC to travel and rarely stay in the same place two nights in a row. I found the scissor steps to be dangerous, uneven and a pain to store/fold up as we would need the steps 15 times a day. I bought the steps and platform at the Bigfoot Bankruptcy auction. The electric steps were used and a little bent, a friend said he thought they where off a prototype motorhome Bigfoot had built. They were the right price and easy to straighten, they came with a controller so they could go up and down when the door was opened but I didn't go that route and kept it simple and just used a 3 position reversing toggle switch, spring centered, like what is used on a snow plow. Mounted the switch in a small weather proof mounting box. I pulled the 12 volt power from a light in the basement of the camper that was close by.
To make sure I wouldn't forget the steps down and drive off I mounted a small normally closed switch to the steps frame in a position that when the steps were up the steps linkage would hit the switch and open the switch contacts. I ran ignition switched power wire back from the truck to the normally closed switch then ran the wire back to a warning light in the truck dash, then grounded the wire. So if the steps are down the warning light comes, steps up light off.
With the steps up I can still run a 21 extension and pull a trailer.
The two draw backs with the electric steps is price and weight. The price for new I think is in the 700$ range. The weight is around 90 pounds.
Shows 3 position reversing switch

I don't have a good picture of the normally closed switch, its in the shadow.
