What do you consider the most valuable upgrade in your TC?
TC owners are a very creative group and many have really customized their rigs with valuable upgrades. What's the best change you've made to your TC?

I've upgraded the bottom half of my "truck" camper combo with a new truck. Have not loaded the AF990 yet, but I'm sure it's a change for the better.rooney77 wrote:

Which dish did you go with? Do you have to aim it?
Winegard carryout gm-1518. You just point the handle to the south, hook up the receiver, plug it into the cigarette lighter and it finds the satelite signal in 2 or 3 min. sssssooo easy, I love it.:B- - (2) Yamaha 2000i

- (2) Batteries / group 27
- Inverter system to watch TV at night while boondocking
- Hard start kit for the A/C
- Upgraded to Winegard signal locator for the TV
- Cooling fans for frig (1) small battery unit inside (1)condenser cooling unit behind the frig solar powered. (huge improvement)
- Booze cabinet - my favorite - I didn't want to drill any holes for my key hook so I used the 3m adhesive/removable hooks.
A lot of different styles and other uses: towels, hats, clothes, etc.

Well there are a whole bunch of modifications I have done and some spent a bunch of $$$$. But hands down the one I enjoy the most, is a real simple one;
The key hook by the door. That way I can reach it from the outside, without climbing in (I have a very high camper) and I can reach the hook from the inside too.

Yes, I have one of those bottle openers too, just outside the door. It is a Coca-Cola opener that I modified so it would use the bolts on my Jack Stand Brackets on my Side Door Lance TC. I can actually open up a bottle, while leaning out the door. You are right, it is a great addition to those nights we are all sitting around and someone says; “Does anyone have a bottle opener?” Can’t beat the reaction when someone uses one of those type bottle openers when they are from a “certain generation.”
