Actually a 4x4 is easier to tow...you can select neutral using the differential switch.
Not necessarily true. My fuel pump died while out in BC this summer. Called roadside assistance and told them the weight of my rig so they sent the right size tow truck. When he got there, he hooked up then we checked the owners manual (his suggestion) and it said you must diconnect the rear driveshaft (Dodge).
