Perfect size 21.5 feet 3600 lbs loaded and does not tax me or the tow vehicle, big rear bunk 41 inches and I flipped the axle it will go anywhere like Gibson Reservoir in MT where we went this weekend. We have an Aspen Trail 1700BH. No one goes there and it has a truly beautiful campground. There were only like five people in there and the reason? 19 miles of dirt road keeps everyone away. It sits on the edge of the Bob Marshall and is stunning. And its only two hours from home. It was our first dry camping and everything worked great. Dutchmen sells a tricked out version called the Kodiak 174 with torsion axle, black wash tank and nicer amenities but I didn't want to travel to get one or spend an extra few thousand bucks.
