Lynx levelers most of the time unless on concrete pad. If on hilly site I use the Lynx levelers as a base and a 6x6x6 block of wood on top of the levelers.
Always use a 6x6x6 block of wood under the tongue jack to get some extra height to make hooking back up to truck easier.
Generally, the less of the levelers being extended, the more stable they are.
