- BarneySExplorer IIII have been using the cone tongue jack support for many many years and never had a problem with the stability. They only problem I have is forgetting to pack it up when we leave and the next person in the site gets a nice gift. :R:o
Barney - dvitale300ExplorerSo, for the stabilizers and tongue jacks, is four Lynx blocks about right? And then whatever is needed for side to side?

Lynx Levelers under the stabilizers and one of these for the tongue jack.
Gave up on "bricks" and lumber a long time ago.
I mostly stopped using this style of tongue jack support after it tipped over while unhooking my TT one trip. The site was tricky and I had too much sideways pressure on the coupler. So when it came free, we got a nasty surprise.
So now I prefer a stack of Lynx-style blocks under my tongue jack so a small adjustment in any direction is no big deal.
These things always scared me. I want that jack to have as big a foot print as possible, and to be as short as possible. If the trailer slips off the block (unlikely but possible), the front stabilzers are getting bent, and I am doing a lot of cranking to get back on the truck. - cbshoestringExplorer IIFoot long chunk of 6x6 under the tongue, lynx blocks under the wheels and stabilizers. I planned to buy a 2nd set of blocks for the stabilzers, cause I never seem to have enough (shorter they are, the less we seem to wobble) but I found THIS to be an interesting way to level (side to side) and think I will purchase one as soon as the wife says I am allowed to. :W Which should free up a handful of blocks.

I even use them to level picnic tables when necessary. They are strong, clean, lightweight, and convenient.
- profdant139Explorer IIBecause my axles are flipped, my stabilizers needed a little help, so I built collapsible wooden tripods -- here is a blog link showing how they work and how I made them:
Tripods
And here is a photo of one of the tripods in use:
The tripods work really well -- no shaking, unlike the blocks of wood I used to use. - nomad297ExplorerPressure treated 6x6.

Not sure if the swivel wheel will hold up under heavy tongue weights...mine is around 1K.
The tongue wheel worked great when we had a pop-up.
Just wondering....
The one pictured IS for 1,000 lb.tongue weight.
And the picture below is for 2,000 lb tongue weight.
I know they make a 1,500 lb tongue weight AND they make one with a dually wheel on the bottom.
Just do a search for which one you need they come in various tongue weight capacities. Just read the spec info on it before you buy.
I had one on a very heavy TT and it worked and lasted the duration of the time I owned it.
It really is slick when hooking up when you are off with matching the ball without one you have to do the approach again. With this you have a much wider margin. Because you are able to move it left or right 2 or 3 inches, crank it down and you are in! - downtheroadExplorer
