You're darn right model numbers have nothing to do with designating length and I was really embarrassed when I learned that. I had called a campground to make reservations and I was asked what the length of my 5th wheel was. I told the nice lady that it's a Hemisphere 286RL so I need a site to accommodate a 286 foot long camper.
Seriously...My 286Rl is 34' 1" per the brochure and my tape measure. I tell them it's 34' when making reservations.
