I make all of our reservations and I always say 35' for our 32' MH. No one has every questioned us when we arrive at a campground, and we have always had enough room so that our rig fits the site. The way I see it, the extra 3' is necessary. We always tow our car, and if we said 32' for the MH there could easily be no room to park the toad. I am not taking a site away from a truly big rig that could never fit into a 35' or even 40' site, and am saving the smaller ones for rigs that can fit. Been at this for over 40 years and it has never been an issue anywhere. Once we were taking our TT and tow vehicle across the Cape May Lewes Ferry. They charge for oversized vehicles. I actually measured our total length after hooking up. We were more than 2' over the 50' price. I told the cashier the actual length and she asked the real length of the TT. It was a true 32'. She then added the length of the truck - around 18'. She said she didn't count the distance created by towing, so she didn't charge us the extra fee! That's the only time it mattered!
