I had TWO people I know buy brand new dodge trucks (Dakota) and NEVER changed the oil. One guy was to dumb to do it or get it done and at about 40,000 miles it locked up on him. He had no oil/filter receipts and Dodge told him to take a hike and they did not fix it.
The other guy bought a new truck and thought he would save a few bucks by adding ...Slick 50... to the oil like the old add's use to say and he never changed it either. Well it too locked up after some 40,000 miles and when he took it (towed) to Dodge they told him that's not oil it's sludge....He eventually did find a dealership to replace it
