Get it inspected with an independent before money changes hands. Someone with expertise in diesels. The 6.7's are pretty good engines, but boy you can lose your shirt on some of these diesel repairs. If the truck checks out, I'd take the Cummins. You might also look out for one of the 6.4L Hemi's in a 2500 or 3500. That's a good motor as well that's definitely up to task. Since it's a gas engine it carries less of a premium so you may be able to work out a deal closer to an even trade.
