Naw, if you really don't have somewhere to keep it and won't need it for the long haul, sell it.
You have a white super duty. There's probably 100 people in NY or wherever that need a white SD tailgate. It's worth $3-500 assuming it's not scratched up.
200 tailgates for sale on CL here. Saw 2 brand new white SD tailgates for sale.
It's not a deal breaker for selling the truck either.....at all. Or buy one later if needed.
