I suppose there is room for some discussion here. Our previous Snowbird was a non-slide unit, and there was a jackknife couch that was comfortable as a couch with a sloped back, but not nice to sit at a table for anyone. We put in a single post small round table and used that.
Now the Snowbird with a slide out has a Dream Dinette that I installed, is stable, and it provides room for four big people to dine if needed, or for two to spread out and relax with cushions against the wall if needed.
Some want seating capacity, and a small table; others want a large table and seating for two only. Our kitchen has one of the largest counters of a camper for a 9'6. We can both work at preparing food side by side if needed, and it works so well for us that many of our meals are served and prepared inside.
Again, often our camping in done in the winter where nights are long instead of days.
