What if...

An F150 with the HD Payload package will do it just fine , but they are hard to find, you may have to order one. It may need a receiver upgrade because stock it is limited to 1130lbs weight distributing. Like others have posted, the cost will likely be similar to a 3/4t, but there are trade offs with either truck.

I'd tow it with our rig but not any 150. A 2500 would work.

A 3/4 ton gasser would be best fit for trailer with that trailer. I recommend a 4:10 or 4:30 axle for gasser. I would not tow a trailer that heavy with any 1/2 ton, just my opinion.

HHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Maybe a Freightliner. I'm drawing a blank. OOPs, they don't have gas engines either. How about this, buy whatever you want, pull to the right and do the best you can and ignore all the people flipping you off.

I think you could get the F250 with the 6.2 gas or the Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi. Though for not much more you could get the F350 SRW or Ram 3500 SRW with the gas engines. I believe you ask are beyond the capabilities of 90% of the F150 Arab.

That trailer lists a dry weight of 7150 lbs. and if you don't load anything in it except two propane cylinders and a battery, it could be towed by some 1/2 ton trucks. It wouldn't be for me but many things aren't. :) If I was buying it and filling it with all of my necessary rubbish, I'd shop for a really efficient diesel truck.

Looks like a alot of weight on a light truck. I think I'd rather have a ton truck, (with a big engine).

So buy that F150 Eco that you want. But, make sure you order it with the HD towing package and especially the HD Payload option.

Also, nice looking trailer, but no recliner(s). They sure are nice.
