What in the world to do about TERRIBLE bunkends?

Don't know how the thermarest ends attach exactly, but out canvas was coming out of the channel as well (canvas getting tugged but the cable supports), the dealer put screws in through the attachment points in the corners where it was coming out. Not sure if that would be an option in your case.
