What is a good travel trailer?

Airstream.

Lance and Arctic Fox both offer decent trailers at affordable prices.

Airstream, Camper Lite, Lance. Quality and pride of workmanship is sorely lacking in most RV's today. If you buy used prior to signing have the rig checked out by a neutral reliable service center. Money well spent. Best of luck. I might also suggest checking availability of campgrounds you might want to visit. Here in Oregon most are booked up solid.

one with a fiberglass body,and roof less chance of leaks ,BUT they still have things on the roof that can leak. #2 your handy thats a very good thing. rv,s are well known for roof leaks, be very picky when looking at used rv,,s best way to get started find a good used well taken care of unit. there out there lot of them be fussy. and really look them over . just my .02cts theres no one brand better than another ,they all build cheap. and please stay far ,,,far ,, away from dealers , they don,t no a dam thing about the used units that come on there lots . great time to find a diamond, and have it ready for spring. me I,d look out west or down south where the weather is nicer.

In my opinion none of them (including those already listed) are high quality so just get what you like since they're all made out of the same junk materials and thrown together as fast as possible.

Add Outdoor RV to the list.

Where do you see yourself camping? If you are going up dirt roads on a regular basis, you need the better built (and heavier) Northwood and Outdoor RV trailers. If you are staying on pavement, the lighter trailers, like Jayco, will probably be fine.
