We traded in our TT to a dealership and bought a Class A MH. Now a week later, they text me, asking me where my "hitch work" is, and asking why it wasn't inside of my TT. Huh??? What is the norm? ...

Yep, unless they put it in writing that the hitch was part of the deal it's yours! When they build them new they don't come with a hitch. That is all extra.
