It has been a while since I had a tt, but I remember the weight disribution bars and the sway control needing to use attachments that were part of the tongue. When I traded my tt for my first motorhome, I did not remove all those attachment points and left all the bars and such with the trade. I also left the hitch since it wouldn't be of use on the motorhome and it was much heavier and inconvenient than a regular shank and ball. Doubt there is a huge market for used ones, and by keeping it you are going to use up any goodwill you might have at that dealership.
