We traded in our TT to a dealership and bought a Class A MH. Now a week later, they text me, asking me where my "hitch work" is, and asking why it wasn't inside of my TT. Huh??? What is the norm? ...

When they asked why the hitch wasn't in the TT, you should've said the TOAD hitch wasn't in the MH - once that problem was rectified, you would make sure the TT hitch was returned.
