What is wrong with the new TT

The new RV's are a disappointment. The fresh water holding tanks have
been "down sized" Some are down to 30gal with 50gal being the largest.
That amount of water might last a weekend if your luck holds out with kids and pets, after that hauling water in five gallon containers is your only way to survive the weekend. Thank government regulations
for all this, manufacturers now have to include full tanks in
calculating the "Dry" Weight. Personally we have come to the conclusion to keep our old TT. You can elect to go to private campgrounds where if your lucky they may have some full hookups left but if state or national parks are your choice be ready to count every drop that goes into those waste tanks. The gov guys have forced small tanks on us because one of us might choose to go on the road with full holding tanks thus over loading his tow vehicle. I wish this was not so, if your buying new check this out before sinking $30 grand or more into a RV. I did find two manufacturers who are using at least sixty gal fresh water tanks. That is the size tank I have
and it holds for a long weekend for a family of four and our pets but our RV was made in 08 a long time ago.
