Good point. OP - Did you check the glove box, or in the under-seat storage? There might be a plastic bag with the adapter you need. Should be with the manual that also tells you how to buy the trailer camera package from GM. I don't know if aftermarket cameras are compatible.
I don't think aftermarket cameras work with either. I've checked the glove box, under the back seat, in the back seat storage areas, and everywhere else I can think of. When I bought the truck, I received a grill cover for when it gets cold, Snow plow prep wiring, 2" reducing sleeve for the hitch, Owners manual, various other documents (Sirius/XM, Infotainment system, Getting to know your Duramax engine, Limited warranty) but no camera wiring or where to get it or the cameras. I found a lot of information on how great the system is online and demonstrations of the different camera views but I can't find anything on where to get the things needed to make it work.
