What LED bulb are you using?

I stopped suggesting the seller I used because they don't sell what I bought any more. There are other links in the thread for other sellers of the same thing and also cobs that other posters are happy with. I was glad to hear you got a refund.

Willowby is the only other poster that uses the 120 cob for outdoors. he recently posted that all of his lights were working well.

Yes, have seen Jimi's thread and I don't think I want the hassle of the panel type, so I'm going to try the cobb style or the ones CanadianKid used for inside (anyone else tried these ones) and the big cobbs for outside.

I bought these for all inside lights.(48 smd size). Much brighter than bulbs.

Again much brighter. They use about 1/6th the power of bulbs

I bought 10 of these and I am very happy with them.They are very close to the same brightness as the originals, point the light downwards where it is needed and I didn't have to use two sided tape to hold them in place. If you want the regulated ones 12v-24v you can get them here for a bit more money.

68 is the number of led's, what does the 1210 mean in the '68-1210'?

To avoid the blue color, order warm white LEDs.

The 1210 is the type of LED. Each tiny LED you see has a single emitter. There are also 5050 types that has 3 emitters per LED you see. They are twice as bright and use more power too. They are usually more expensive as well.

They also explain the differences better than I can.

I can see where the 120s would be overkill in a campground. We like the brightness because we camp in the middle of no where and like to see what goes bump in the night. Some of it can eat the dogs.

68 is the number of led's, what does the 1210 mean in the '68-1210'?

Thanks Jim,,, just ordered the 68, set of 2 for $7.99, thinking the 120 would be a bit much,, not wanting to blind the camping neighbors.
